A beautiful scene captured of Porthkidney Beach and Hayle Estury from the coastal path in St Ives Bay.
The scene is taken from a photo I took while walking along the coastal path between Lelant and Carbis Bay here in Cornwall. I remember being awe struck by the contrast in colours from the lilacs of the flowers on the path and the turquoise of the clear sea lapping on Porthkidney and Hayle T owans Beaches. Sometimes when we stop to take in our surroundings we can see that Beauty really is all around us.
I used sweeping palette knife stokes to create the feel of the flowers and created hidden hearts within my markings for you to find. See the close up photographs to see the texture in more detail.
